There have been numerous reports of unexplained lights around the area. Places like Shoal Lake First Nation, Rat Portage First Nation, Kenora, And Fort Fances, Ontario. They all see the same lights and they all hear strange noises. And also, it's always near the lake. (lake of the woods)
March 18th, I have witnessed these lights also. I live on the Rat Portage First Nation. I went outside with my friend for a smoke. We both noticed this red light in the bush. It was never there before and it was also making this loud beeping noise. I figured it was one of those lights from a hydro pole and never thought anything of it. The next few nights nothing there, then on March 23rd, the light was back, but it wasnt I that noticed it. It was my step-dad. He seen the light, heard the noise but when he looked at it, it disappeared right away. We are now afraid to go outside at night.
March 27th. A group of people from this reserve gathered late at night to watch some more lights. My step-dad was among those people. They watched the lights from a telescope or just by looking in the sky. They verified it being an aircraft. Some of those people even have footage.
Since Then.......People have been seeing these lights around this reserve and others around this area. It's getting pretty scary.

Can you give more details, such as direction the light is in, how it moves, how high it is in the sky, how far away, what time it is seen, etc. Do you really need a telescope to see it? What about the sightings in Kenora? We have investigated cases in Kenora before, so we'd be interested in learning more.

Rat Portage is about a 5 minute drive from Kenora.
ReplyDeletei seen a light tonight at 10:30pm going east, thought it was an airplane but it wasnt, my friend witnessed the same thing...i finally seen what everyone was talking about, my friend said it wobbled a bit as it went by, i was running to my neighbors to get more witnesses, but it faded away..strange how sumthing floats by and makes no sound...im from kenora area

ReplyDeleteI used to live in Dalles Reserve F.N. A friend and i watched a flying disc float past us at very close range! it was unbelievable! It had some flashing red lights, white lights. It was hovering at tree top height. that close! It never even made a sound! that was cool to see!! We watched it fly slowly over the waters then that was it, we ran home!
ReplyDeleteAug of 2013 i was north of kenora at what i think is called deer lake .i got up around midnight and stepped out of the camper .after a half a minute or so i started my way back to the camper and off to the west looking across deer lake the whole forest semed tobe on fire or was lit right up . the light looked like a giant xmass tree only hundreds of feet across . very bright and colorfull
ReplyDeletealmostl ike fire but not .i woke my partner up and he witnessed it as well. it lasted about 2 minutes and just faded to a small red light wich moved around in no patern .and then it just went out .im not saying UFO . but i cant explain it off
